About HHM
I don't believe there's one right way to raise a family. I do believe there are things worth holding onto.
I grew up in Eastern Europe, where traditions aren't something you plan for once a year. They are part of everyday life. You help set the table. You learn family recipes by standing next to your grandmother. You respect your elders. You sing the same songs your parents had sung.
The way I see family, childhood, and learning was shaped long before I became a parent.
Now I'm raising my own children in the United States, and I get to choose what I bring with me.
Here's something I've come to believe deeply:
Homeschool Mamas Find A Way.
We don't wait for the perfect curriculum or the perfect circumstances. We look at what we have, and what our kids need, and we figure it out — one creative solution, one small adjustment, one stubborn refusal to give up at a time. You are already doing this, even on the days it doesn't feel like it.
You will figure this out too. The challenges don't disappear, but neither does your ability to find what helps — and that's exactly what I want to share here: the ideas, the resources, the small wins that made our days better, in hopes they make yours better too.
I take each day humbly, knowing perfection was never the goal. What matters is showing up, learning as we go, finding a way when the path isn't obvious, and helping each other along the way.
You're doing better than you think. Welcome — I'm so glad you're here.
